Where clean design meets thoughtful details and a relaxed approach. No matter what you need—a brand, website, print piece or photos—you’re in the right place. I keep things simple: good design should feel approachable, not overwhelming.
No fluff, no fuss—just creative work that reflects who you are and what you’re building (or dreaming up).
Welcome to the Studio
Thoughtful design, built with heart—and usually a good cup of coffee.
Why Saltwood?
Salt stands for honesty, texture, and the everyday things that shape us—plus a little salt is delicious in espresso. It’s also a nod to my roots in Eastern North Carolina. My dad’s side of the family came from Portsmouth island, just across the water from Ocracoke, and eventually made their way to Oriental. That salty air, that weathered strength—it’s part of who I am.
Wood brings warmth, creativity, and a sense of something lasting. it’s about building things that feel natural, solid, and a little bit beautiful.
Together Saltwood is my reminder to keep things real, thoughtful, and grounded—in design and life.
The name blends contrasts—grit and growth.
Meet Jenn
Hey, I’m Jenn—a small-town creative with a deep love for clean lines, earthy colors, and helping people bring their ideas to life.
My husband and I have been small business owners for over 16 years, and along the way, I’ve handled all the branding and design—not just for us, but for other local ventures and personal projects too. Saltwood Studio is where all that experience finally comes together.
I pay close attention to the details but never take myself too seriously. Expect plenty of coffee, quite a few laughs, and a calm, no-pressure process that always leaves room for your ideas.
Because good design should always feel approachable—and a little personality never hurts.
